Betsson Buys Two Dutch Gambling Firms for €27.5M

Betsson, a Swedish gambling powerhouse, has revealed its latest move to dominate the European market. The company has bought two gambling firms in the Netherlands for a whopping €27.5 million (€31.2 million).
The deal includes Holland Gaming Technology Ltd, an online casino operator, and Holland Power Gaming B.V, a software developer.
The two firms work closely together, as Holland Power Gaming supplies gaming technologies to Holland Gaming Technology. Holland Gaming Technology Ltd has an online casino license and runs the websites goldruncasino.nl and goldruncasino.com.
Betsson will pay €16 million (€18.2 million) upfront, and the rest (€11.5 million) in installments over the next year. The deal is subject to the green light from the Dutch gambling regulator KSA (Kansspelautoriteit).
