Elon Musk

Fortune, an American business magazine, reports that Elon Musk is planning to add sports betting features to his X platform (ex-Twitter). He has signed a deal with BetMGM, a betting company, to make it happen.

The details of the deal are still under wraps, and the magazine doesn’t say how much it’s worth.

The idea is that users will be able to see the odds for sports matches on the X platform’s website (which is still at Twitter.com for now), and click a link to BetMGM’s site if they want to place a bet.

The timing of the deal is perfect, as the Super Bowl LVIII, one of the biggest events in the U.S., is just two weeks away. It’s set for February 11. American media say that this year’s Super Bowl could draw a record 50.4 million bettors in the U.S. alone. Most of them are expected to bet on what happens during the game, not just who wins.
