A new report by ENV Media, an agency that specializes in the iGaming market in Latin America and Asia, reveals that women in Brazil are big fans of online casinos.

The report says that 49% of online casino users in Brazil are women. That’s the highest percentage among all forms of gambling.

In contrast, according to data from the research institute GREO, men placed more than 70% of all bets made in Brazil in 2019. However, this number has increased by 31% since 2022, as reported by Esportes da Sorte, one of the largest sports betting companies in Brazil.

KTO Group, an international iGaming operator, also confirms the popularity of online casinos among Brazilian women.

The company says that crash games are the most favored casino games by female players, followed by roulette and game shows.

The study also shows that women are slightly more active than men in online gaming in general, not just gambling, in Brazil. As of 2021, women account for 51.5% of online gamers in the country.
