A Brazilian influencer couple has been arrested on fraud charges. According to Casino.org, Ianka Cristini and her husband, Bruno Martins, lured followers into signing up for online casinos by showcasing fake winnings.

The duo, boasting a combined social media following of nearly 15 million, flaunted a lavish lifestyle, claiming their wealth came from gambling — specifically the Fortune Tiger slot (Jogo do Tigrinho) by PG Soft.

In reality, their earnings didn’t come from big wins.

Instead, they were receiving affiliate commissions from gambling operators — earning a cut from every dollar their followers lost.

Cristini regularly posted videos of massive payouts without disclosing that she was playing in demo mode.

To maximize their profits, the couple also launched a paid online course, teaching followers how to “win big” from home.

While it’s unclear if any of their followers struck it rich, the couple certainly did. Investigators uncovered multiple properties and a collection of luxury cars, including a McLaren 720 Spider and an armored Cadillac Escalade.

But they might not hold onto their fortune for long. Authorities are expected to seize and auction their assets to compensate victims.

Cristini and Martins remain in custody after a judge denied bail, citing flight risk.

This comes as Brazil recently launched its regulated sports betting market.
