MGM - New York Yankees

MGM Resorts International has announced a landmark partnership with the New York Yankees, marking the first time a casino operator has teamed up with the iconic baseball club.

The partnership will see MGM’s logo prominently displayed on the pitcher’s mound and various other advertising spaces within Yankee Stadium.

The collaboration will also include a range of promotions and Yankees-themed fan activities, such as VIP access to batting practices and ceremonial first pitches at the stadium.

“We remain committed to investing in the community while collaborating with the New York Yankees to provide unparalleled experiences for baseball fans. Our company has owned and operated Empire City Casino and Yonkers Raceway for the past five years. As we continue working to secure a full commercial casino license at Empire City, this partnership allows us to further develop these properties to their potential, while providing the world-class hospitality guests have come to expect from the MGM Resorts brand,” said Bill Hornbuckle, MGM Resorts CEO & President.

The New York Yankees, valued at $7.1 billion, were ranked the second most valuable sports club in the world in 2023 by Forbes.
