Czech gambling group Fortuna Entertainment Group (FEG), which owns the Fortuna brand, has agreed to acquire a 70% stake in Lithuanian operator TOPsport, the largest player in the country’s regulated market with an estimated 54% share, according to Next.io.
The financial terms of the deal were not disclosed, although the company described it as a record transaction for its owner, investment group Penta Investments. Completion of the deal remains subject to approval by the Lithuanian regulator.
Founded in 2002, TOPsport is considered Lithuania’s first licensed sportsbook operator. It currently holds leading positions across both online and land-based segments, operating more than 50 betting shops nationwide. In 2025, TOPsport reported EBITDA* of over €65 million.
For FEG, the deal marks its entry into the Baltic region and expands its footprint to eight markets. The group already operates in the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Poland, Romania, Croatia and Montenegro. Its portfolio includes the Fortuna brand as well as local brands such as Casa Pariurilor, PSK Sports and Lob.
Gambling Park notes that the transaction comes amid tightening gambling regulation in Lithuania. The country has raised the minimum gambling age to 21 and introduced stricter rules on advertising and sponsorship.
