Amateur Clubs in France to Play in Jerseys Promoting Safer Gambling

France’s gambling regulator, l’Autorité Nationale des Jeux (ANJ), will sponsor local amateur sports clubs as part of a campaign to raise awareness about the risks associated with sports betting.
A total of 14 amateur clubs across France will be selected and designated as ambassadors of the initiative.
As part of the campaign, ANJ will provide each participating club with a full set of jerseys displaying a warning about the risks of betting. In addition, each club will receive gift vouchers worth €450.
In total, the regulator will distribute 196 sets of playing kits and provide €6,300 in financial support.
ANJ noted on social media that many amateur clubs had already expressed interest in joining the awareness campaign.
