Stefan Milicevic, Serbian tennis player
Serbian tennis player Stefan Milicevic, 29, has been banned for 24 years and fined $70,000 for match-fixing. The International Tennis Integrity Agency (ITIA) announced the sanctions.
Between 2022 and 2024, Milicevic was involved in fixing six matches, five of which he played in himself. He was also charged with attempting to fix six more matches.
The player also recruited or attempted to recruit other professional tennis players into the scheme. Some of them subsequently became involved in match-fixing as well.
During its investigation in 2026, the ITIA made seven attempts to contact Milicevic through various channels, but he did not respond or cooperate. The agency later issued him a formal notice of charges for breaching anti-corruption rules, which he also ignored.
The ban took effect on October 9, 2026, and will remain in place until October 8, 2050.
For the duration of the ban, Milicevic is prohibited from competing, coaching or even attending tournaments as a spectator.
The ban covers events organized or approved by the ATP, WTA and World Tennis, as well as Grand Slam tournaments and competitions organized by national tennis federations.
Milicevic reached a career-high singles ranking of world No. 1338 in August 2014.
