Miriam Adelson, widow of the late Las Vegas Sands (LVS) founder Sheldon Adelson, has announced her support for Donald Trump’s upcoming presidential campaign.

The Adelson family’s rapport with Trump blossomed during his previous term in office. Their relationship deepened when Trump championed Israel and made the historic decision to relocate the U.S. Embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem.

During the 2016-17 election cycle, the Adelson family, channeling their influence through the company Preserve America, injected $90 million into Trump’s election program.

Following the passing of her husband, Sheldon Adelson, in 2021, Miriam Adelson assumed control as the largest shareholder of LVS. The company, which operates major gambling properties in Las Vegas, Macau, and Singapore, reported record-breaking revenue in 2023, exceeding $10.3 billion.
