The National Hockey League (NHL) has signed multi-year agreements with Polymarket and Kalshi, granting both platforms official partner status in the field of prediction markets across the United States. According to NHL Chief Business Officer Keith Wachtel, the collaboration with two industry leaders will offer new ways to engage fans throughout the season.

Under the agreements, Polymarket and Kalshi will gain access to official NHL data, along with the rights to use the league’s trademarks, logos, and other branding within their products and services.

The prediction-market platforms will also receive advertising visibility during game broadcasts, with their brands featured on digital rink boards and in virtual in-game ads during regular-season matches, the Stanley Cup Playoffs, and special events such as the NHL Winter Classic and NHL Stadium Series.

Polymarket founder and CEO Shayne Coplan said the partnership will allow fans to interact with NHL teams in a new, more interactive way.

Meanwhile, Kalshi co-founder and CEO Tarek Mansour described the deal as a milestone for both the company and the broader prediction-market industry, noting that it reflects the league’s trust and recognition of Kalshi’s transparency.

Earlier, Gambling Park reported on concerns raised by U.S. senators Catherine Cortez Masto and John Curtis, who argued that platforms such as Kalshi and Polymarket could undermine the existing gambling regulatory framework in the United States.
