Parimatch Remain Chelsea’s Official Betting Partner for the 2023/2024 Season

The British website of the bookmaker Parimatch has confirmed on its platform the continuation of the ongoing partnership with the English football club Chelsea.

The announcement states that Parimatch will serve as the official betting partner of the Blues for the 2023/2024 season.

In March of this year, reports were circulating about a potential review of the sponsorship agreement between Chelsea and Parimatch. There were even talks of terminating the contract due to the sanctions imposed on the bookmaker in Ukraine. By the way, Parimatch’s inclusion in the Ukrainian sanctions list immediately affected the company’s operations in the country.

As a result, the bookmaker ceased its operations in Ukraine, leading to the termination of all employees and the notification of customers regarding their blocked funds amounting to $6,8 million.

Meanwhile, Chelsea is still in the process of finding a suitable main sponsor. The position was under consideration by the cryptocurrency casino Stake.com. However, recent reports have revealed that the football club has declined to engage in a partnership with the gambling company. This decision appears to have been influenced by the pressure exerted by the fans, who have clearly expressed their negative stance toward promoting a gambling firm.
