Bookmaker 1xBet has become the first betting partner within the Riot Games* ecosystem, signing an agreement with Brazilian esports organisation MIBR and its VALORANT roster — one of the fastest-growing disciplines on the global competitive scene.
As reported on the MIBR website, the approval for such cooperation was granted by the developer following a review process that began in early 2025, when Riot opened the League of Legends and VALORANT markets to betting operators across North and South America, as well as in Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
MIBR’s VALORANT lineup, featuring players from the United States and Brazil, competes in the VCT Americas regional league. In 2025, the team qualified for the international VALORANT Masters Toronto event, becoming the only Latin American representative at the tournament. The squad later secured a spot at the VALORANT Champions 2025 World Championship, finishing among the top five teams.
Simon Westbury, Strategic Advisor at 1xBet, called the partnership a major milestone for the company.
According to him, working with MIBR — whose roster includes some of the region’s most prominent players — will help strengthen VALORANT’s presence across Latin America and offer fans new ways to engage with the game.
The partnership between the bookmaker and MIBR has been developing since 2022, beginning with support for the organisation’s Counter-Strike (CS:GO) lineup. 1xBet also continues to expand its international esports footprint by supporting major tournaments.
* The Riot Games ecosystem includes the developer’s titles and official esports competitions such as League of Legends, VALORANT, Teamfight Tactics and Wild Rift.
