Cryptocurrency platform Blockchain.com has entered into a partnership with prediction market operator Polymarket.
Blockchain.com previously focused primarily on cryptocurrency trading, storage and transfers. In May, the company also launched SnapMarkets, a service that allowed users to place short-term bets on Bitcoin price movements, such as whether the cryptocurrency would reach a certain level within a specified period.
The partnership with Polymarket will significantly expand the platform’s offering.
Blockchain.com customers will gain access to prediction markets available on Polymarket and will be able to trade on the outcomes of football matches, political events, economic indicators and other real-world developments.
The new feature is being launched to coincide with the semifinals of the 2026 FIFA World Cup, which are expected to generate increased interest in betting and prediction markets.
The feature will be available to Blockchain.com users in the European Union and other eligible jurisdictions. It will not initially be offered in the United States.
