How to Play Caribbean Stud Poker
The Early Game
Ready to play? Put your ante up on the table. Want a shot at the jackpot? Throw in $1. The dealer gives you and themselves 5 cards each, face down. Then shows one card.
Keep in mind: The house edge is 5.22%, so you lose $5.22 per $100 bet.
The Middle Game
Now you have two choices: fold or raise.
- Fold: Lose your ante and jackpot bet (if any).
- Raise: Double your ante bet.
The Late Game
After everyone has made their decision, the dealer shows their cards. The dealer needs at least A-K to qualify.
- No A-K? You win 1:1 on your ante and push on your raise (get it back).
- A-K or better? You compare your hand with the dealer’s. The best poker hand wins.
The Result
- Win: Get 1:1 on your ante and a payout on your raise based on your hand rank.
- Loss: The house takes both bets.
