Bookmaker Superbet will refund customers who placed bets on Brazil to win the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
The company announced the decision on social media after Brazil were eliminated from the tournament. The refunds apply to outright bets on Brazil to win the 2026 World Cup. Superbet decided to void those wagers and return the full stake to players.

As a result, the bets will not be settled as losses, even though Brazil can no longer win the tournament. According to Brazilian media, the refunds are expected to be processed automatically, with no additional requests required from customers.
Brazil ended their World Cup campaign in the round of 16. On July 5, Carlo Ancelotti’s team lost 2-1 to Norway at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford. Erling Haaland scored twice for Norway, while Neymar pulled one back for Brazil late in the match.
Before that, Brazil had advanced from the group stage and beaten Japan 2-1 in the round of 32. However, the defeat to Norway knocked out one of the tournament favourites at an early stage of the play-offs.
In this way, Superbet decided to support Brazilian fans who had backed their national team to win the tournament. The refund applies specifically to bets on Brazil becoming world champions and does not mean that other markets related to Brazil’s matches at the tournament will be re-settled.
