Underdog and Crypto.com Launch Sports Prediction Platform in the U.S.

Underdog, a U.S.-based operator of fantasy sports and sportsbook betting, has partnered with crypto platform Crypto.com to launch a prediction markets platform for sports events in the United States, Gambling Insider reports.
The new platform will allow traders (players) to make deals on various sports outcomes, effectively trading directly with each other. The most established competitors in the prediction markets space today are Kalshi and Polymarket.
“While prediction markets are still new and evolving, one thing is clear: their future is tied to sports — and nobody understands sports better than Underdog,” said Jeremy Levine, founder and CEO of Underdog.
For now, Underdog and Crypto.com will focus exclusively on sports predictions, unlike competitors such as Polymarket and Kalshi, which also offer markets on politics, economics, entertainment, and other non-sports topics.
