Chelsea FC Dumps Stake.com and Partners with Infinite Athlete

Chelsea Football Club has had a hard time finding a major sponsor. First, the Premier League (EPL) nixed Paramount because it could clash with the league’s TV deal for games.

Then, the deal with the betting company Stake.com fell through. The bookmaker, which already sponsors other EPL teams, seemed like a good fit. But the club’s fans were not happy about the possible deal with Stake.com and made it clear that they don’t want any gambling sponsors.

The next in line for partnership with Chelsea FC is Infinite Athlete, an American sports tech company.

Sources say that the deal is done and will be signed as soon as the EPL approves it. The deal is worth €46 million per year.
