Betclic Becomes the New Face of Liga Portugal

Betclic, a French gambling company, has landed a major deal with Liga Portugal, the top-tier football league in Portugal. Starting from this season, the four-year contract will rename the league as Liga Portugal Betclic.

The operator’s logo will be featured across the league, including various advertising platforms and digital media.

The deal was secured by IMG, the global sports agency that represents some of the biggest names in sports and entertainment. Betclic will replace Bwin as the main partner of Liga Portugal, which boasts some of the most popular teams and players in Europe.

Ricardo Domingues, Head of International Markets at Betclic, expressed his excitement about the partnership. “We believe that the combination of the potential of both parties, aligned with a common desire to develop the competition and reinforce our values, are factors that bring us closer together,” he said.
