The salary of Gianni Infantino, president of FIFA, amounted to 4.8 million Swiss francs (around €5.2 million) before tax in 2025, according to a report prepared for the organisation’s congress.
Infantino’s remuneration package consists of a fixed salary and a variable component. His base salary stood at 2.6 million Swiss francs (about €2.82 million), while approximately 2.2 million francs (around €2.39 million) was paid in bonuses.
For comparison, Infantino’s total compensation in 2024 was about 4.25 million Swiss francs (approximately €4.61 million), including a base salary of 2.6 million francs (around €2.82 million) and bonuses of roughly 1.65 million francs (about €1.79 million).
The report notes that the variable portion of remuneration depends on the achievement of key performance indicators, including commercial performance and the implementation of strategic projects.
In particular, the increase in bonuses was linked to the development of club competitions under FIFA’s auspices and higher revenues from tournaments.
Overall, Infantino’s total income rose by around 13% in 2025, driven by higher bonus payments.
The report also disclosed compensation details for FIFA secretary general Mattias Grafström. His total income for 2025 amounted to approximately 3.6 million Swiss francs (around €3.91 million) before tax.
Infantino has led FIFA since 2016, following a corruption scandal that resulted in the early departure of his predecessor Sepp Blatter. He was re-elected for a second term in June 2019 and a third term in March 2023.
