Kick, a streaming platform owned by Stake.com, a crypto casino, reached a new milestone in August: 100 million hours of viewership.
The “Slots & Casino” category was the second most watched and the second fastest growing category on the platform, with a 57% increase in views from July. The “Just Chatting” category was the most watched and the fastest growing, with a 33% increase.
One of the reasons for the surge in gambling games views was the huge popularity of game slots for GTA V fans, which grew by 700% in a month.
This was driven by both the latest updates and news about the game and the growing interest of GTA streamers in Kick.
Kick’s success is also partly due to the strict gambling policy of Twitch, the leading streaming platform. Some of Twitch’s audience is switching to platforms where gambling streams are not heavily restricted. One of the former Twitch streamers who have moved to Kick and streamed gambling games is xQc.
