Gambling firm 888 Holdings, the parent company of 888 and William Hill, reported a 38% revenue increase in 2023, reaching £1.71 billion, ($2.16 billion) as per their latest financial report.
This significant growth is largely due to the acquisition of William Hill in early 2023.
The firm also saw a reduction in net losses, down to £56.4 million ($71.2 million) in 2023 from £120.6 million ($152.3 million) the previous year.
Additionally, 888 Holdings is contemplating a rebranding, potentially resolving the matter within the year.
CEO Per Widerström expressed the need for change: “We need a corporate brand. We need a new company name that is memorable and translatable… A new direction. A new sense of purpose. Today marks a new start, our new one company, Evoke”.
